Dr. Paul Sawala

Dr. Paul Sawala is a Florida native, born and raised in the Town of Jupiter.  From a young age, Dr. Paul was drawn to the shore, spending his childhood years participating in any and all activities that took him to the edge of the ocean. In his personal time, Dr. Paul can be found fishing, off-shore diving, or surfing the waves off the beaches of Palm Beach County and beyond. 

Dr. Paul is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  He served from 2002 through 2006, completing his tour as a Petty Officer 2nd class (E5). He was stationed at Surf Station, Humboldt Bay, California, and at Air Station, New Orleans, Louisiana.

During his time in the service, Dr. Sawala proudly aided in various United States border security assignments and also participated in search and rescue missions during the destructive forces of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Dr. Sawala received several commendations and awards during his time in the Coast Guard, including a Letter of Commendation Award, a Presidential Unit Citation Award, Humanitarian Service Award, and medals that included the Good Conduct Medal, and a Coast Guard Merit Unit Commendation Medal. 

At the conclusion of his service in the United States Coast Guard, Dr. Paul attended the University of Oregon in Eugene and completed his undergraduate studies in Environmental Science. Dr. Paul was involved in various athletic programs during his time in Oregon and was recognized at commencement for his diligent work with Hawaii’s Hawksbill Turtle Recovery Program, a program of the United States Department of the Interior. 

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Oregon, Dr. Sawala returned to the East Coast to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. At Palmer, Dr. Paul served as class president and was an active member of the student council. He also worked as a Sports Council Representative where he provided athletes with chiropractic care both on and off the field.  Dr. Paul was able to further his knowledge and passion for treating athletes by working as an assistant teacher in an elective class of extremity adjusting. Dr. Paul earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2020 and returned to Palm Beach County, his childhood home to practice his art. 

 Dr. Paul’s chiropractic passion is to motivate and inspire patients to live life to its fullest potential.  He prides himself on working closely with patients to aid in their recovery from pain, sports injuries, and play a role in their overall wellness. Dr. Paul prides himself on utilizing a wide range of chiropractic techniques, always tailoring a care plan towards individual patient needs. The techniques Dr. Paul employs include Diversified full-spine adjusting, extremity adjusting, Thompson Technique, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, Kinesio-taping, and physical therapy regimens.  As an athlete and humanitarian, himself, Dr. Paul empathizes with his patients, their individual needs, and is passionate about the overall health of all he serves.
